Sulaimani, Iraq - April 8, 2012 - AUIS MBA student Dr. Rekawt Hama Rashid was named the Minister of Health for the 7th Cabinet of the Kurdistan Regional Government on April 5th, 2012. He plans to continue his MBA courses at AUIS while being busy with his ministerial duties.
Rashid is only four courses away from the completion of his MBA at AUIS.

Rashid was the Director of Koya Hospital from 1999-2001. He has also been the Director of Health in Sulaimani since 2009. Further, he completed his degree in Medicine & General Surgery from Salahaddin University and has a High Diploma in E.N.T. Surgery.
