Why AUIS?

Our mascot- the AUIS Eagle
In 2010, AUIS officially adopted the eagle as the university's athletics mascot. The eagle was chosen by the students from among several possibilities to represent AUIS' prospering athletics program.
A mascot is often chosen by both professional and collegiate sports teams to unite the team and their fans. A mascot could be anything- a person, such as a pirate, an animal, such as an eagle, or a costumed, fictional character, such as Smokey the Bear or Tony the Tiger.
